I did not realize how small it would be. But the quality is great. Purchasing a 2nd one soon!
If you are used to flying whoops / ducted 40mm on say 1S lipos, prepare to be totally blown away by the Guppy V3 on 2S. I put some iFlight Xing 0802 16,000kv on here and soldered up some BT2.0 connectors to a couple 300mah 2S GnB batteries - a highly non-standard power configuration it seems, but seemed to suit this size aircraft very well (I think the XT30 connectors that come on the GnB's are too big for this little guy). I swear to g*d this thing takes off like a firecracker over the rooftops, it seems to have infinite throttle / punch and grabs the air super well. Without the ducts it does much better in wind as well - ignores it, actually. 34.5g dry weight / 53g auw - being used to sub-19g whoops I thought the weight here would be a problem, but not even close. Lightning in a bottle, no joke it is a rocketship. This thing is my favorite flier today.
Don't be fooled. Even though this frame is undeniably tiny, the quality was not sacrificed. Chamfered edges, recessed bolt holes, motor layouts for 08xx and 11xx, and high quality 3D printed parts are all designed flawlessly in this frame. I paired mine with the iFlight Succex Micro and XING-E 1103 10000KV Motors and it's the best flying micro I have. I can't wait to see what GnarlyFPV comes out with next!
